The Course to Excellence

Courses

he CIMBA MBA program encompasses 20 total courses (58 credit hours). The curriculum is focused on real-world uses of business principles. Team- and leadership-based learning and problem-solving are emphasized, while small class sizes allow more interaction and participation. You will spend your last month in Iowa, preparing for graduation and completing an integrative strategy course at the University of Iowa.

Duration

The full-time MBA program is designed to be completed in 11 months. The part-time program is designed to be completed in two years, while maintaining your full-time employment.

Format

For full-time students, classes are in session throughout the week and on weekends. You will also participate in the leadership development program through additional seminars, coaching, and training. For part-time students, classes are held on the weekends. Most courses for our MBA programs meet for four full days.

Admission

A bachelor's degree is required. We look at academic record (a GMAT or GRE score is required for admission, along with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 grade scale), work experience (two years of work experience are recommended), and leadership potential.

Program Cost

CIMBA has long been recognized for program affordability and offers a superior academic experience that will exceed your expectations at a cost far below than other Europe-based MBA programs. Also, since most of the other MBA programs take two years to complete, you save one year of tuition, fees, and living expenses as well as the opportunity cost of being out of the workforce. The trade-off is that the CIMBA program is far more intensive and demanding, requiring students to be highly motivated and focused.
